Pi's Story
Author's Note- In this short re-telling of the book Life of Pi, I will try to use text evidence from the book.
Pi Patel has been stuck on a boat with a beast that no man should ever think about getting near. He has been stranded on a life boat with half the Pacific Ocean left to sail and enough food to last a quarter of the journey. The boat is crowded with four different animals that will all die, except one. In the book it says he needs to hope and pray to his gods, but what I think he needs to do is work together in trust with the tiger that he is stuck with. Like when it says in the book Pi gives the tiger food that he has caught but the tiger refuses and no one ends up eating it. At the end Pi learns the true meaning of his journey, that he was the tiger that was on his way to greatness through struggle and finds his spiritual meaning through God.
